Are you currently Keto or Carnivore?

Carnivore

How long have you been keto/carnivore?

August of 2022

Describe what a Typical Day of Eating Looks like for you.

On week days I get up around 5am. I like to read and wat h all my favorite content. Play with my dogs and take them on a good walk. Go to work around 11am. My work day can vary from day to day, but most days I am home by 7 or 8pm. This is when I typically eat my meal for the day. I usually snack on sardines or hard boiled eggs while I make a nice steak or something similar. On the weekend I get up and make bacon and eggs and have another meal in the evening of steak, or ground beef, chuck roast, pork chops, etc.

Describe the health changes you have experienced since going keto/carnivore.

I have experienced many different milestones.
• lower back pain gone
• neuropathy in feet and hands gone
• shoulder and knee pain gone
• acid reflux gone
• brain fog gone
• addiction to sugar gone
• addiction to alcohol gone
• addiction to Marijuana gone
• ability to increase exercise
• renewed focus and attention
• increased eyesight
I believe that I have been suffering from IBS and diabetes and feel like I have reversed those symptoms. Although, I have never been to a doctor to be diagnosed with either condition. My body has shown signs of both.

Your Keto/Carnivore Story

I started my Journey with the Carnivore diet in August of 2022. I was researching diet and lifestyle changes for my cousin Brad who was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. came across many different options, but the one that was the most extreme was this Carnivore diet. Which was less of a diet and more of a shift in what I had learned my entire life. By the time January of 2023 rolled around I had lost 60lbs. Down to 170 from 220 at my highest. This is without stopping alcohol. The following month, despite trying to share my results for months with my cousin, and pleading with him to stop his sugar addiction he passed away from cancer in February of 2023. To be fair he was under the care of the hospital, and was unable to change his eating habits because the hospital now dictated what his diet would be moving forward. Later that month started the Lent season. I was sad and frustrated and went back to my old eating habits during this time and within just a few short months gained back almost all the weight. So, in May of 2023 I went back to Carnivore. It has not been an easy path. I struggled through flu like symptoms, but persevered. I went all the way down to 159lbs. I went to my first meat-up in Chicago, IL and had my first taste of the Healing Humanity community with Kerry Mann and Dr Tony Hampton. That experience pushed me to create a YouTube page and document the foods I was eating on the carnivore lifestyle. I was simply showing how easy it was to eat this way. I then started craving exercise. I started a push up challenge daily on youtube and also a sunrise walking challenge. This went on for the summer of 2024. When the weather turned cold I lost my focus on the walking. Then I got bored with recording my food. So, I stalled on my YouTube posts when 2025 rolled around. I wanted to change the direction of my channel and decided that I would go to as many Carnivore meat-ups I could afford to go too. So, I could have conversations with like minded carnivores and then post them on my channel. I could have never imagined meeting such wonderful people in my life. Each one one having an amazing journey to get to where they are now. I have been able to rid myself of addiction to sugar, alcohol, Marijuana, and have gained a new life. The Proper Human Diet and Healing Humanity has saved my life and I want to share it with others who deserve to know the truth. Thank you Doctor Kiltz for your friendship and inspiration every day. Thank you Kerry Mann for your extra push. Thank you Doctor Berry for the endless information and advice you provide. Thank you to the Healing Humanity community and all the Carnivores out there sharing their stories. Come have a carnivore conversation on my YouTube @carnivorousdude. The stories are what builds the movement. The journey is ongoing and there will always be wins and setbacks, but I implore you to celebrate the wins and learn from the setbacks. My journey is focused on these principles
• Love
• God
• Family
• Community
• Fellowship
• Nutrition
• Lifestyle

What is the best (or top 3) pieces of advice you could give someone starting their keto/carnivore health journey?

If I could give my top three things they would be to be humble and forgiving to yourself. It is not an easy transition for everyone. Some of us have so much trauma built in that it takes time to overcome many of the health obstacles in front of you. We are all human and life happens. Also, try to be a part of a community that can help you stay on track during those tough times where you may just give up if doing it alone. And lastly, do it at your own pace. You are not in a race with anyone but yourself. Do not critique your journey and progress against anyone elses.
